Prashant Miranda paints Bombay Gold

If there was ever a city where people lost and found themselves daily; a city which was home to the dreamers, achievers and romantics, it would be Bombay. And what happens when a painter and illustrator decides to paint poems of his love for the city of dreams, is nothing short of stunning.

Bombay Gold is an ongoing exhibition by illustrator Prashant Miranda, which brings together his three key interests: figurative studies, architecture and nature , in a unique solo show of paintings, each one glowing with his deep thoughts on the city.

Spend a few quiet minutes just reflecting on the paintings, on how this crazily fast-paced city, also rests quietly in its hidden nooks and corners. Bombay Gold is on display at Gallery Zinc till 30 June, from 11 am – 7pm (Sundays closed). You can pick up a few of these beauties if you fancy too…
